Online Advertising India: Steering Brand Promotions

The stride of small and medium enterprises in the global business arena, has accentuated on the platform of online advertising India. This is due to the strength of this advertising medium, that the advertisers from diverse verticals look forward to utilize it. This strength lies in the fact that around 46 million people in India use Internet. Now, this is an interesting fact that attracted around 41,000 advertisers in 2006, which together targeted these users.
It can certainly be called an emerging phase of online advertising India, which is contributing to a variety of advertisers that represent different verticals. This is possible due to the leading online advertisement agencies that have been setting up their base here. No doubt that the promotion of STPIs (Software Technology Parks of India) and their world class infrastructure have been attracting the online media bigwigs.
Online advertising India is not behind the global advertising trends. In March 2006, there were around 185 billion display ad impressions that were bought by global advertisers (Nielsen). This number was nearly double than it was in March 2005, which was 97 billion. Now, in the year 2006, there were around 5 million clicks on ads every month, made by Indian Internet users. This shows that state of Indian Internet ad world is poised to see the inclination of global advertisers.
